Elizabeth Beringer

Trained with Moshé Feldenkrais 

Elizabeth Beringer has been involved in the practice and development of the Feldenkrais Method™ for over 35 years and is considered one of the leading Feldenkrais teachers and trainers. She studied directly with the founder of the method, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, between 1976 and 1983, both in the United States and in Israel. Elizabeth has maintained an ongoing and diverse private practice, applying the approach of the Feldenkrais Method™ to a diverse population, including individuals with severe movement limitations, seniors, musicians, children, and people with chronic pain. She has also extensively worked with athletes, martial artists, and dancers, and is known for her ability to apply the method in dynamic situations. Read more.

Martin Mosimann

made the training in Biel internationally known 

Martin has been working as a Feldenkrais teacher in Biel, Switzerland since 1995 and has been with the Feldenkrais Center Biel for 24 years. Since 2002, he has been organizing Feldenkrais trainings with Elizabeth Beringer in Switzerland. Martin is happy to have been working closely with Elizabeth Beringer for over twenty years, organizing and teaching Feldenkrais trainings together in Switzerland. They will be co-leading the new training for the first time. Martin himself teaches in various trainings around the world as a trainer and shares his expertise not only in Biel but also throughout Europe by offering further education for Feldenkrais teachers. Serge Cartellier

As a practitioner of the Feldenkrais™ Method, he has
applied the principles of the method to the practice of acting and its
transmission.

His career focuses on public speaking and the presence of the body on stage. Alongside medical studies and intense sports practice, he trained as an actor and enriched his path with dance and movement. He has been a Feldenkrais practitioner for over 15 years. As an actor, performer, and director, he has participated in numerous interdisciplinary creations in France and Italy. Since 2020, he has taught in preparatory classes for national theater school exams. He leads workshops for diverse audiences, including actors and individuals facing social or psycho-medical challenges. He also has his own practice for individual sessions. He holds a Diplôme Universitaire in "Body Techniques and the World of Care" from Paris VIII, where he focused on language practices in support structures. For the past 10 years, he has worked as a pre-assistant in professional Feldenkrais training in Paris and Switzerland. He co-organized the last international training in Biel and will be an organizer and mentor for the upcoming training.

Angelica Feldmann

Pioneer of Awareness Through Movement – a life dedicated to the Feldenkrais Method, shaped by dance, education, and innovation.

Angelica Feldmann has been working with the Feldenkrais Method for over 30 years, has been a trainer in international Feldenkrais training programmes since 2006 and leads her own Feldenkrais training courses in Switzerland as Educational Director.

She has a long-standing background in education, dance and design, which informs her innovative and unconventional approach to teaching.

Angelica Feldmann lives in Zurich (CH).

Thomas Farnbacher

Bridging Movement and Balance – from Münster to Moscow.

Thomas was born in Münster/Westphalia and now lives with his family in Chiemgau in Upper Bavaria. Thomas came to the method through martial arts (Ninjutsu, Capoeira and Yiquan), dance (dance theatre and Tango Argentino) and healing arts (massage and physiotherapy). He completed his training in Vienna under the pedagogical guidance of Denis Leri and Carl Ginsburg. Thomas is a JKA (Jeremy Krauss Approach) Workshop Instructor & Practitioner and works intensively with children with special needs.

In addition to his work as a Feldenkrais trainer worldwide, he leads training programmes in Prague and Moscow.

Ulrich Wermuth

skilfully combined his decades of experience as a craftsman with the Feldenkrais Method™

Ulrich Wermuth, an experienced metalworker and Feldenkrais trainer, has made a remarkable career in his field. With his in-depth craft training and passion for the Feldenkrais Method, he has developed a unique perspective on the connection between bodywork and craftsmanship.  As a Feldenkrais trainer, he now uses his craft knowledge to help people improve their movement skills and become more aware of their bodies. He not only teaches his students the basics of the Feldenkrais Method, but also shows them how to apply these principles to their everyday movements and manual work. Ulrich lives and works in Biel/Bienne.

 
Mara Della Pergola

Trailblazer of the Feldenkrais Method, combining clarity and creativity – teaching and inspiring the world from Milan.

Mara Della Pergola was a student of Moshé Feldenkrais in Amherst. She brought the Feldenkrais Method to Italy in the 1980s and was one of the first Feldenkrais teachers in Europe, helping to popularise the Method. Mara founded the "Istituto di Formazione Feldenkrais" in Milan. 

Mara teaches there and throughout Europe as well as in North and South America. She is particularly appreciated for her clarity, creativity and accessibility. Mara is the author of numerous articles and the book "Art, Transformation and the Feldenkrais Method".

SCOTT CLARK

Movement Artistry in London - A Bridge Between Dance and Feldenkrais, shaped by passion and expertise.

Scott is originally from New Mexico, but has lived and worked in London since his 80s. He was interested in movement from an early age and was a dancer and dance teacher. 

He studied Alexander, Laban and Rolfong until he took the Feldenkrais training in London in 1987-90. Scott is the organiser and educational director of the Feldenkrais training courses in London with Elizabeth Beringer
